Rosa a wife , a mother to 3 young girls, & a friend to the community.
Rosa has dedicated 15 years as a medical professional at The Clinics of Scranton Primary. Rosa's known for her compassion with her patients and her light hearted spirit. Anyone who has met her hasn't had a bad thing to say. Rosa was originally diagnosed in 2019 with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in her breast. As the cancer invaded her body, she made the decision to have a partial mastectomy and opted for radiation. Rosa was successful with her treatment, and gained remission. Through remission she struggled everyday with different effects from the radiation/ surgery while always staying strong with a smile.
Though she was in complete remission for two years, unfortunately she was informed of the return of her cancer after Thanksgiving of 2021. Rosa learned that not only did her cancer return, but it came back more aggressively. The cancer cells quickly went rampant throughout Rosas' body reaching her lung, hip, and spine between L4-L5. The oncologist has notified her family that Rosa has Stage 4 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which is terminal. With this news, she will need extensive amount of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments. These life-saving treatments need to be immediate. With the aggression of this cancer, Rosa and her family are anticipating the medical bills to double, if not triple, with the life-saving treatments that are required. As we pray for her and her family, please consider donating to #RosasFight.
Please consider sharing if you cannot donate, as Rosa and her family are going through this very challenging time. Everything is appreciated thank you and God bless.
