WalkAide System for MS patients

I wish to raise $6500.00 for a WalkAide System for my high school sweetheart who has relapse-remitting Multiple Sclerosis. Patty cannot walk with out a cane or a walker.The WalkAide System is an advanced Functional Electrical Stimulation System for the treatment of Foot Drop caused by Upper Motor Nueron or Central Nervous System disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis. She is unable to lift/raise her left leg so walking or getting in or out of the car is an ordeal. The WalkAide system is a cuff she wears around her leg that stimulates the appropiate nerve to lift the foot at the right time while walking promoting a more natural, efficient, & safe walking pattern. This expense at this time is a major hurdle for us as I am a 5 yr bladder cancer patient on Social Security Disability who has had 8 operations on my bladder in the last 5 years, including a Robotic Radical Cystectomy 39 days ago. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated and I hope someday to "Dance with my wife again". Thank You in advance, Danny Goff
