Hello! I’m sure you came here from a link I posted- my name is Joey Winkler and last year lung cancer took my mother from my family and left us all with a massive hole in our hearts. Myself, my sister, my brother, my father, and the rest of my family were devastated by her sudden passing- she was a loving mother, an amazing wife to my father, and was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. On the weekend of her passing I planned to attend the 2025 cooper river bridge run, but had to cancel as her condition became critical. Now I want to come back better than before, this year I will be running the race in her honor and hosting this fundraiser to donate to the American cancer society in her name.
