Hello, my name is Samantha. I made this gofundme for my dad, Jeff Fitzpatrick. Here is some information about him. He has served his community working as a paramedic for 25 years, until recently when he had to medically retire. My dad is the most caring person. Anytime someone is in need he is right by your side to help if he’s able to. He loves mountain biking, dirt bikes, basically anything with 2 wheels. He loves the outdoors, being active and spending time with his family & friends.

In December 2020, he was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. He underwent intensive radiation and chemotherapy. On October 12th 2021, he had the opportunity to “ring the bell” symbolizing that his treatments were complete.

Then in November 2021, we received the unfortunate news that the cancer had returned. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic head and neck cancer meaning that the cancer has now spread to his lungs.

Since this diagnosis, he has been on multiple different chemotherapy’s. He must go to Stanford for treatment every 3 weeks. It is so important that he does not miss an appointment. Due to traveling we are asking for any donations to help with traveling expenses as well as his medical bills.

We are also asking for donations to provide my dad with the financial freedom to continue doing what he loves when he’s feeling well enough to do so. He still loves riding in his free time with a group of friends and we hope that he will continue to have the opportunity to do so in between balancing the effects of chemotherapy.
