Steph's House Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Hello,
My names Liv and I'm raising funds for my sister Steph.
On Sunday her dryer caught on fire, leaving the house she was renting half burnt down and the other half of her belongings left extremely smoke damaged.
We are grateful that everyone in the house got out without any serious injuries and it is a blessing that my nephew wasn't home at the time. We have been in awe of what has survived and are counting every little thing that can be salvaged as a blessing.
My sister is one of the hardest workers I have ever met, she has spent the last decade working her butt off as a single, co- parenting mum to provide a beautiful stable home for herself and her 11 year old son. Anyone that has ever been to her house would have seen how much work she put into this and how proud she was of her home.
Considering she didnt have contents insurance we are so grateful that there are still some things left. But we are still feeling very overwhelmed at the prospect of replacing big appliances, bedding, getting everything cleaned and finding her another house during such a busy time of year.
My sister isn't one to ask for help, she pays her way and will struggle to let someone pay for a coffee without keeping tabs in her mind. We have gone back and forth alot about starting this go fund me. We just want to reiterate that everyone is okay, there are still belongs left, my nephews chrismas presents were saved and we are overwhelmed with the support from our friends and family and the resources that are already available to her.
We don't want anyone to give outside of their capacity so please only donate if you have extra resources to do so. But with that being said we have a long road ahead to help her recover from this and any help will be met with the utmost of gratitude ❤️✨️
