On March 12th, Cody was in a devastating motorcycle accident that left him with a severe traumatic brain injury, including diffuse axonal injury (DAI) and multiple facial fractures. He spent days in a coma, underwent facial reconstruction surgery, and has spent the last several weeks fighting his way back—step by step—through post-traumatic amnesia and into early recovery.

Thanks to the strength of his spirit and the incredible support from his care team, Cody has made amazing progress. He is now walking independently, eating solid foods, dressing himself, and having meaningful conversations with family and friends.

Cody will now continue his recovery through an outpatient therapy program. This next phase will focus heavily on rebuilding his memory, thinking skills, emotional regulation, and daily independence—all crucial steps in helping him return to the life and people he loves.
