My older brother Antonio was recently detained by ICE and is now facing the risk of expedited removal. Our family is urgently trying to raise funds to hire an experienced immigration attorney to fight his case and, if necessary, help him safely resettle in Mexico.

Antonio came to the United States when he was just 4 years old. He has lived his entire life here and has not returned to Mexico since. He doesn’t even speak Spanish. The U.S. is the only home he knows.

He has struggled with mental health challenges for years and relies on daily medication and consistent care. We are deeply worried about his wellbeing while in ICE custody and what his ongoing treatment will look like if he is deported.

Antonio is one of the smartest and most curious people I know. He loves all things technology and computers, always finding ways to build and fix things. As the oldest sibling, he has always felt a strong responsibility to support and protect our family. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
