Help Matthew with Medical Expenses

This is where our story begins .

in June of 2024 Matthew went to hospital what he thought was an upper respiratory infection . The doctor decided to run some tests which proved that his lungs were full of fluid and was having congestive heart failure. Matt found out after extensive tests that he needed to have mitral and tricuspid valves replaced due to heart failure .

Now we had a lot of decisions to make , should he have his heart surgery in Evansville Indiana where he was working and had doctors there or come home to Louisiana to be with family during surgery and recovery . Now we had to find a heart surgeon and cardiologist to do his surgery . We finally found both doctors in mid September, surgery was scheduled for November 4th . Matt decided to work till it was time for surgery . Unfortunately he ended up coming home a month early due to conditions getting worse . He was having issues with his lungs and heart not beating properly. As a result of him coming home early all of the money saved wasn’t enough , went to bills , medical expenses , back and forth to hospital and ER and medicines he was on prior to surgery .

Now the road to recovery ….

Matt has had his surgery and after surgery was told he was lucky to be alive at that point due to valves being severely damaged and now has a mechanical valve . He has had a few bumps in the road and set backs with getting his medicines right . He is doing much better on his road to recovery but still is out of work . We are in need of a little help as the medical bills and expenses are still coming in .
