Joy Fauth spent her adult life caring for children and mentors in the Portland metro area.

Unfortunately, she was laid off earlier this year. Since then, she had health issues that left her in the hospital for weeks. It has kept her disabled and bed ridden at home.

Joy is in a difficult position many people face, spending months being disabled and unable to earn income while applying for and waiting for social security/disability to kick in.
