Chad's Battle

 

Chad's battle began in March 2020. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.  The Honke family decided to have it removed via surgery, which was a new method being done in Canada. Chad was the first one in Canada to receive that surgery. Chad went a year-and-a-half with no Cancer. July 13th of this year he had CT scans done. 1 week later the Honke's found out the cancer had returned. Chad had surgery for a biopsy on August 26th. Another week later they found out he had the same cancer again. So the process of getting ready for chemo had started, September 8 he got his pick line and pet scan done, Thursday September 9th they found out the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes in his armpit and his groin.

Now they prepare for the next battle.

Time away from work, and the expenses of life will continue for Lannie and Amanda as Chad's fight with Cancer continues.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to ease the financial stress that Lannie and Amanda have faced, and will face in Chad's next battle.
