My wife and I have gone through a lot in the past six months. Four car accidents, pregnancy, and emergency dental work have caused us to rearrange our life repeatedly. Due to an infected abscess, she has had to have two root canals which our insurance does not cover. Rounded down, that's roughly $2000. With us both being full time students who have already had delays in our education, neither of us can really work more than we already do (plus, Jennifer is now considered high risk so she can't really do much else). $2000 is quite the chunk of change for us with two kids and another on the way.
