Before October 2023, Mohammed had it all mapped out: he was a first year Human Medicine student at Al Azhar University in Gaza, with dreams of completing his scholarship in Algeria and maybe even studying at Sydney University one day.

His dream? To become a doctor and serve humanity through medicine.

Then came October 7th. On the very first day of the war, Mohammed's home was bombed while his family of nine was inside. They were pulled from the rubble with severe injuries. His university – completely destroyed. All his belongings and memories – gone with their home.

Today, they're crammed into overcrowded tents with no safety, no security, and barely enough food to survive. In Gaza right now:
