Support for the Bass Family

My dear friend and Marine corps sister Virginia (Missy) Walker Bass, suddenly and tragically lost her husband, Jonathan Bass on 9/24/21.

 

 

 

Jon Bass was a fellow Marine who loved woodworking, the Colts, and his dogs, but more than anything he loved Missy and their two boys Sam and Xander. Jon and Missy met while serving together in Beaufort, SC and despite long separations due to deployments, tours in Iraq, or recruiter detail, they always came back home to each other. In Missy's own words: "Jon is great, he's my best friend".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There will be a memorial service at Christs Church on 3131 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN on October 9th at 10:00 am. Doors will be open at 9am for people who would like to come early and visit.

 

 

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Missy and the boys. Please share your memories (and your money) and a prayer to help support the Bass family through this difficult time.
