Club Soccer - Opportunity

At our school we always talk to our students about taking advantage of potentially life changing opportunities that will drastically change the trajectory of our students' lives. One of our students have been presented with such an opportunity - to play club soccer with one of Houston's elite clubs. The coaching staff at our school used
every tool at our disposal to secure a player evaluation for the student, and after two days of try-outs he was offered a spot on one of the club's teams.

Playing club soccer with introduce our student to college and academy scout networks that we can't offer the student at our school. In the club has gotten many students to play soccer at colleges and university across the country on scholarship. 

For those that have played club soccer or that are familiar with club soccer programs know that they can be expensive.

Registration fee - $400
Uniform fee - $300
Training Fee - $950
Team Fees - varies $600-$800 (covers hotels/tournament cost/travel)
Equipment - $150 (cleats, shinguards, bag, balls)
GoFundMe fee - 7.9%

Supporting this fundrasing is not about helping a kid play soccer. Its about sitting a student up to be on a drastically different trajectory in life, despite where he lives. Its about opening the doors of opportunities for a student that may not have otherwise.
