As all of our friends and family know, our son entered this world earlier than he should have due to some severe complications. We have been in the NICU for almost a month and still have a few weeks left before we can go home. I'm not one to make this sound like a pity party, so I'll keep it kinda short and sweet.

Thankfully, we have both had PTO up until now. Alex is now going unpaid until we go home.

I have some PTO still, but that quickly runs out when you don't know when you'll be back home. The last thing I wanted to do was make a GoFundMe, but I'm not able to pay all of our bills, take care of the older kids, make Christmas happen, and pay for the things here on my income.

Financial stress is a horrible feeling, and we have been under a lot of stress the last month being far away from home, my kids, our dogs, nasty food, my car getting hit, and stuck in a hospital 24/7.
