Shane is missing and presumed deceased

My name is Ann-Marie Villasana and I am starting this fundraiser to help my great-nephew, Johnny Feuerborn and his family. Johnny's father, Shane Feuerborn, has been missing since December 7th. After extensive searching by friends and family, his car was located in a remote area near Brookings, OR, with his keys and cell phone inside. A search and rescue team was sent to find him, but due to a snowstorm and mountainous terrain, they were not able to locate and recover Shane. It may be springtime before he can be returned to his family.

Besides his oldest son Johnny, Shane has a 13 year-old son, Dayce. Also devastated by the loss of Shane are his parents Donald and Evelyn Feuerborn, his sister Stacey Clouse and family

Johnny has a great burden on his shoulders. In addition to losing his dad, he is the sole caregiver of his mother, my beloved niece, Mariah Jones. Mariah has a rare, progressive neurodegenerative disease (myasthenia gravis) and is a long haul COVID survivor, having spent many weeks intubated in the ICU earlier this year. She lost her dear husband, and Johnny's stepfather, Tony Gutierrez, to cancer, not even a year ago.

Johnny was involved non-stop in the search for his father, and is now traveling every weekend from his home in CA to Brookings, OR to be with his siblings and grandparents. In addition to having a full time job and being the sole breadwinner for his mother's household, he now has to begin to help manage his dad's affairs. In addition, when Shane is recovered, there will be funeral expenses.
