Hi everyone. I’m here making this fundraiser for my mom, Jennifer Wood. Last night at about 4 am, our house in Longview caught on fire due to an electrical issue in the attic. I got the call at 5 am from my mom, which shocked me and everyone else involved. For those of you that know her, you know that she’s a giver and would never ask anyone for help, which is exactly why I’m making this for her today. She has completely emptied her savings to help put me through college at Texas A&M University, and is also in the process of transitioning to a new job. Many of you may know her from the hospital scene, as she’s an amazing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She’ll be in a hotel for a few months with my three year old brother Landon until the house is safe enough to enter again. She is the greatest woman I know, and would give her last leg for anybody in need. Although no one was injured, our home is in shambles and completely inhabitable at the moment. I’m 3 1/2 hours away at college, so I cannot provide her with the help that I need to. My mom works extremely hard for everything she has, and to see her struggle is completely destroying me. As she isn’t aware that I’m doing this, I’d love for this fundraiser to have an amazing outcome. Please see it through to donate, so I can make sure that my mom and little brother are taken care of.
