Kevin’s Medical Bills

My name is Kirk Boehm, and I am setting up this fundraiser for my Father, Kevin Boehm. Kevin is an incredible man with unparalleled devotion to being the best husband, dad, and grandpa he could possibly be. For the past year, Kevin has been battling cancer. What started as prostate cancer has apparently made its way into his bladder and therefore, his battle continues. He’s already undergone surgery to handle the prostate cancer and after six weeks of recovery, has now been handed the difficult news that his battle is not over. We are currently awaiting another PET scan in hopes that it is now isolated to the bladder, and he can begin radiation this spring. Rolling into 2022 my folks (the best kind of people) will be starting their year off by hitting their high insurance deductible, for the second year in a row. Unfortunately, the odds are that they will owe the deductible a third time in 2023 (hopefully for preventative maintenance and check ups at this point ). FMLA provides them with about $50 a week which is far from a livable wage to compensate for his inability to work. My point is that cancer sucks and is extremely expensive even with insurance. All donations, big and small, are immensely appreciated and will go directly towards Kevin’s medical bills. My dad is a very good man and fighting a rough battle at the moment. Thoughts and prayers are equally appreciated .
