Dear family and friends:

This wasn't easy to do, but sometimes life needs you to go through challenges in order to help you and everyone around come together in empathy and compassion - And to remind us all that we are humans... Unfortunately, we often wake up and go through the waves of the day without thinking that something negative can strike, therefore, we seldom prepare ourselves to hit the rubles emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially.

About five (5) weeks ago there was a disclosure made that has crumbled this family to pieces. A heinous crime was committed and unfortunately, the victim of this crime was a minor child (the minor is safe). Details of the incident cannot be disclosed as it involves a minor child and the incident is under investigation. However, an arrest has been made.

The traumatizing event has put the family in financial need. The head of the household, the mother, has had many expenses all while being unable to work, therefore bringing in no income. The bills from last month and this month have been piling up. We need a little help while we get through this and WE WILL.

This is not a forever situation. We will raise from this. We are healing and through this down time, we have learned a lot and have come together stronger as a unit, as a family, but we were definitely not prepared, especially emotionally.

We have friends hands on helping the family and we know life will multiply the blessing they have given us.

This is temporary not permanent.
