Hi, my name is Payton and I’m here trying to help raise money for Hailey’s medical expenses.

She’s my dads little side kick who she loves more than her second chance at life since we rescued her about 2 months ago.

On December 21st around 11am Hailey took a pretty hard fall (about 10ft) and hit her head while she was at work with my dad (Mike Saucy) he did everything he could and took her to the house to rest and ice her head.

A couple hours passed and there was still no progress. We rushed her to VCA Animal Hospital but due to it being holiday season they were short staffed. We then rushed her to Dove Lewis to see if we could seek further help.

With these few hours she’s been seen by the medical team we now know she has a skull fracture and brain swelling with minor hemorrhaging. Overall not good but she is making progress.

Hailey is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow morning which will give us further answers.

Here’s a quick little update on Hailey !!

Shes been at Dove Lewis for a little over 24 hours and there has been little progress but overall good progress for the brain injury.

We’re still by her side every second of the way in the intensive care unit (ICU). Dad got to see her today and finally pet her, she instantly knew her dad was right there by her side.

Hailey got a feeding tube placed today around 1pm to help get extra nutrients while her brain swelling is going down.

It is going to be a long road to recovery and we’re hoping nothing but the best.

I want nothing more then to bring Hailey home for Christmas.
