Hi. Our dear friend Toni has recently discovered that she has cancer in her bladder and pelvic area. The Dr’s feel fairly confident that they can cut out the cancerous areas in an upcoming surgery. But that is only the beginning. She is not sure what other treatments she may need to have to become cancer free. Toni is asking for family and friend financial support so that she is able to take time off of work and coaching to heal and get back to her normal smart ass self.

To give a bit more background, Toni got a new job this school year with Cherry Creek school district whose health insurance plan does not allow her to see providers that have been providing care for her over the years. She has current health insurance coverage through Cobra (which is really expensive). It also means that she doesn’t have the short-term disability and time off benefits that she had with DPS. This has unfortunately made the financial burden even greater for her.

We are praying with Toni and “thinking positive” that she beat that “ nasty C-word”. Please consider donating to this fund but most of all, please send prayers, healing thoughts, good juju, peace and light to Toni during this time.
