Help Gilbert's fight against cancer
Donation protected
Gilbert is a loving husband and father. He owns his own business. Providing for his family is an honor and a priority. He is a kind and considerate person. Gilbert would give anyone the shirt off his back without hesitation. He serves his community whenever possible by feeding the homeless and witnessing to them about Jesus. Outreach is one of his ways of touching souls with the care and regard of Christ. He is both a blessing and a presence of sincerity to this world.
Recently, Gilbert was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. This cancer has spread to his lymph nodes, possibly invading his liver. Gilbert has chronic comorbidities that complicate this diagnosis: liver disease and some kidney damage. Surgery is not an option at this point. Having such an invasive procedure could cause Gilbert's liver to fail during the procedure. Due to his current condition, standardized medical treatments may do more harm than good for Gilbert at this hour. Many of the insurance-approved and funded treatments carry extremely taxing adverse reactions, possibly causing multiple organ failure in the recipients. Gilbert's wife and loved ones have been researching many treatment options and speaking with specialists regarding alternative medicine and options for cancer. Such treatments offer less invasive measures that would better his overall state. These are elective alternatives and not covered by traditional medical insurance carriers. Therefore, we are raising money for the Jacobo family so that they may begin Gilbert on an alternative treatment that has an amazing track record in helping fight cancer. This plan of action will help Gilbert recover more quickly when done along with chemotherapy. This alternative treatment can help save his life while offering him a greater quality of life at this time. With this being said, the cost for this treatment plan is completely out of pocket. The course of treatment for Gilbert will cost their family $1,000.00 per week, for the next year.
Gilbert is a hardworking man. He is self-employed, and his business depends on him to run operationally and directly. He is a hands-on owner and worker. With the help of his wife, Laurie, they are fighting to keep his company afloat. This business is their complete livelihood. This is a difficult time for the Jacobo family. Cancer not only invades the body and life of the one affected, but the family, loved ones, and community are all impacted by this disease. Yet above all that they are facing, Gilbert and Laurie are being sustained in hope through their faith. They are empowered through their faith to stand in the promises, word, and power of a healing, restoring, miracle-working living God. Despite what the doctors say, they believe that the finished work of God's covenant faithfulness will be revealed. Through their testimony, the Lord God Almighty will be glorified.
On behalf of a warm and loving family, we are reaching out today asking that you consider joining us in helping them through their hour of need. If it becomes placed upon your heart to help contribute financially to this cancer treatment plan for Gilbert, please see the information below regarding where to send your donations and offerings to.
