I am currently in the process of moving to Edinburgh, this move means that I get to live in a safe and comfortable environment and access resources for my mental and physical health that I have previously been unable to access through living in a small rural Scottish town. It also means that I would have the privilege of being able to attend Church services each day in a warm and welcoming environment.

For the month of December, I have paid my deposit (£200) + rent (£600). I still have to pay £200 bills for this month, as well as £32 for my travel to my new house tomorrow (Dec 7th).

On Dec 21st, I get paid my benefits. Because of the way the benefits system works here, this month will not include housing element (contribution to my rent). This means I will get my standard allowance of £823. I will have to use the entirety of this and the small amount I currently have in my bank to afford to pay my January bills: £600 rent, £100 deposit (it's being spread over multiple months with December being the highest), £68 public transport monthly pass, and £200 bills.

This leaves me with very little money from now until January 21st (when my January benefits are paid). And this small amount of money will have to go towards groceries, bedding, cutlery, knives and forks etc. On January 21st, I will get an increase to my benefits which will now start paying a contribution for my rent. So from Jan 21st onwards, I will be fine financially. It's just until then that I am going to struggle.

Any donations would go towards helping me cover my December bills, my moving costs, groceries, bedding, cutlery, etc. Any money above that will be kept in savings in case of emergencies. Nobody is under any obligation to donate. Please keep me in your prayers also.
