Hi everyone, my name is Alexa, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet dog, Luna.

Yesterday, Luna was involved in a terrible accident outside my apartment. She got startled and ran toward another dog, and in that split second, a car was turning, and she was hit. It was the most heartbreaking and traumatic thing I have ever experienced.

We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they found that her pelvis is severely fractured. She is in a lot of pain and will likely need orthopedic surgery to recover. The estimated cost of the procedure, along with the necessary medical care, is around $10,000.

This expense is far beyond what I can afford on my own, so I’m asking for any help—big or small—to give Luna the treatment she needs. She means the world to me, and I just want to give her the best chance at healing.
