On Easter, March 31st 2024, our dear grandparents Dottie and Dennis Martin tragically lost their house to a fire. The two were out on a lovely Easter day trip when they received the news of their loss, and were devastated when they returned back to their home to find it uninhabitable.
The loss of their home is immeasurable as they have put in many years of work to create the home of their dreams and fill it full of memories. Despite the loss, our family and community are so grateful the two were not harmed by the fire.
Our grandparents, Dottie and Dennis have made an undeniable impact on their community and everyone they have met due to their relentless generosity and kindness. The two are givers by nature and are entirely self-made despite the various hardships they’ve endured with their health which has made their resources limited.
As a gift back to them, we are reaching out to our community, near and far, to come together for our grandparents in this incredibly hard time. We sincerely appreciate and thank you for your kindness!
