Hi my name is Linda Greenstreet and I am humbling myself to ask for help for my father. On April 9th my dad went to the ER for a complications. He is suffering from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s. It has been about a 5 year battle. This has been the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever experienced. He is currently completely non verbal and sleeps all the time. They have to wake him up to feed him. He’s not really eating. He’s an aspiration risk and he’s having a hard time swallowing. I call him and the nurses put the phone to his ear and I just tell him how loved he is and how much I miss him and I always sing to him his fav song, “Turn the Page”. The DNR that I signed made me wanna puke

I was told my dad has less than 2 months to live. I seriously just got hit by this today at 3 pm.

Update: My daddy passed away 7 days later in the hospital. He was transported to Maryland to be with all of his friends and family.

I want to have a big celebration of life for him to celebrate his life where we can all gather with a nice meal and share memories. He deserves it.

I really need some help paying for it. The cheapest I could fine was about $900. Any donation would be appreciated to this and it would be so special and appreciated!
