Good morning everyone. My nephew Jack was run over by a hit and run car and I am asking for help. As Jack's aunt, I never imagined that the joy of a simple evening could turn into our family's worst nightmare. It was March 31, when my 13-year-old nephew Jack was outside, doing what he loved most – skateboarding. He is always so full of life and excitement, a source of happiness for our whole family.
He is currently heavily sedated at UMC and doctors are monitoring his status.
In the blink of an eye, everything changed. A car came and hit Jack, causing unimaginable injuries, including a fractured skull and a dislocated hip.
Jack was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors worked tirelessly to perform surgery and save his life. But since that dreadful evening, Jack hasn't woken up. His mom Brenda, dad Aaron, and his three loving sisters have not left his side, praying for a miracle and clinging to hope.
Our family is facing an uphill battle, with medical expenses mounting and the emotional turmoil of seeing Jack in this condition. We are determined to give him the best care possible, but the financial burden is more than we can bear alone.
I am humbly asking for any help you can give. No contribution is too small and every cent will go towards medical expenses, rehab, and any additional costs that will arise during this nightmare we can't wake up from.
We are immensely grateful for your compassion and generosity. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for standing with our family and supporting us with your donations and prayers for our sweet Jack.
