Hello, my name is Charles McRae. I was born and raised in Black River, St. Elizabeth, and my heart is breaking seeing the destruction caused by Hurricane Melissa. This Category 5 storm tore through our beloved community, leaving behind devastation that words can hardly describe. Homes were washed away, families displaced, and countless people—my friends, neighbors, and loved ones—are now struggling to find food, clean water, and shelter.

It’s heartbreaking to see the place I call home suffering so deeply. Many families have lost everything, yet their spirits remain strong. With your help, we can bring relief and hope back to Black River and the surrounding communities.
