Our beloved father, Hugo, recently passed on November 1st he was pronounced dead at 11:48 am from a cardiac arrest he passed doing one of his favorite pass times riding his bicycle. Dad was a wonderful father, grandfather, and husband and father-in-law who touched the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind a wife (Maria), two daughters (Juliana and Luisa)two sons (Mauricio and Sebastian), and five grandchildren.

Hugo dedicated his life to everything from making delicious meals as a chef in Portofinos in Morristown NJ for over 20years to tinkering with everything he could get his hands on. He loved always finding a way to fix anything and everything that was broken, from a simple pair of glasses to a ripped shirt. He loved to spend his later days playing games with his two youngest granddaughters, tinkering with everything he could get his hands on, and watching a good game of soccer on TV. Dad made friends with everyone, and wherever we went, he could always talk with the biggest of strangers over the smallest of details.

We are all devastated by our father's loss and were unprepared for the high funeral service cost. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Hugo’s funeral. We must raise the money by November 30th to afford his funeral service not including any other debts that may arise with time. Our father was one of the most humble and loving souls that could cross anyone’s path.
