Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones,
We have a dear friend that could really use our help right now. James Kliever stands the chance of losing his home if the balance of his mortgage is not paid by August 12th. So, time is of essense and if you can donate to this fund, I know he would be grateful and honored by your kindness.
As most of you know, James is diabetic and was hospitalized several times this year. At one time, he was even in jeopardy of losing his feet, due to ulcers that would not heal. Thank God that he found a good wound care specialist that was able to do treatment in a hyperbaric chamber. After 58 of 60 scheduled treatments, his eyes have now been affected by the pressure of the chamber. Needless to say, he's disabled and cannot return to work without a release from his doctor. Until his feet completely heal and his eyes too, he will not be given the authority to return to the work force which he so badly wants to do. His short-term disability has ran its course and without a release to return to work, he could lose his home.
I hope you can afford to contribute to this fund and if you are not in a position to do so, please pray for James and give of your time. A visit, a phone call, a meal, etc. goes a long way whenever you're home bound! Offer to run an errand, mow his lawn, or take him to a movie. Any of these kind gestures would lift his spirits.
James' attitude about all this amazes me and if I can be half the person he is, I say I've done well. He's lost his soul-mate already and let's not let him lose his pride. Let's step up and help our brother-in-Christ get through this difficult period in his life.
