Rebecca was recently diagnosed with a rare adenoid cystic carcinoma. It’s a skull based, inoperable, cancerous tumor which has caused a lot of pain and debilitating symptoms. Rebecca, who just turned 46, is a lifelong Wisconsinite who lives in Appleton with her husband and dogs. She is a passionate animal advocate and heavily into fitness and a health conscious lifestyle. She was training for her 15th marathon, which was to be the Fox Cities Marathon in September. She is undergoing 7 weeks of targeted radiation and low-dose chemotherapy at UW Health, Madison.
