A dear friend of ours Kasey Simcoe has had a multitude of reproductive health issues over the span of a decade. In recent months these issues have worsened severely now requiring surgery. So we're asking all our friends to show up for her and help out.


Kasey was hospitalized last September for what was believed to be a ruptured appendix at the time. Doctors discovered a very large uterine cyst and multiple fibroids as cause for the debilitating pain she was experiencing for months. Kasey unfortunately has a history of developing cysts, some of which have ruptured previously and due to this history the only option is a Hysterectomy. This has understandably affected Kasey as the attempt to manage physically anguishing symptoms, a general decline in health and little assistance from health insurance has caused great mental, emotional and financial duress. As most of you know Kasey's multiple jobs are in the service industry and are quite physically demanding. This health issue has unfortunately caused her to miss work a multitude of times. 


These are hard circumstances in already hard times happening to a hell of a woman that is in need of some help. We kindly hope that between our fellow friends and sympathetic strangers far and wide we can raise some funds to support her during her post surgery recovery next month. Kasey's surgery is scheduled for January 29th and the recovery period will be at least 6-8 weeks long putting her out of work, therefore we are starting with a goal of $7,000. These funds will help to cover income lost and hospital/doctor bills gained during this time. We would like to also be able to cover her living expenses, utility bills, as well as supplies and provisions for her and her little cat pack Wittah, Matisse, ZZ and Venom.
