Sudden death in the family

Hi my name is Deonna, I am helping a dear friend with raising money for cremation services.

Dear Miss Kay and Tommy moved to Oregon after hurricane Katrina took all they had. They had built a life here in Oregon.

 

Here is a note from a dear friend of theirs;

 

Today I received the sad news that my dear friend Thomas Dickerson has passed away. I'm still in shock!

As soon as I came on property I saw his wife Kay Dickerson in the community room, I was in good spirits until she told me that he was gone. It took me a minute to process what she was actually saying to me. But once I got it I started to cry and thought of Tommy.

I know he hasn't been feeling well lately, so I've been dropping stuff off for him and the last thing I dropped off was some canned peaches. And as I was leaving that day I told Kay don't eat Tommy's peaches or I'm going to get you.

We all laughed and today the laughter was gone, as I sit in their living room looking straight at the cans of peaches that are still on the counter.

Tommy was funny, respectful, he loved to cook and no matter what was going on he always had a smile on his face and definitely made sure we all did too.

Tommy you will always be remembered as one of the good guys.
