My name is Trelles Pierre. My sister Mallori is going through a Traumatic & Life Changing Experience....
Mallori found out she was Pregnant 4 weeks ago and was looking forward to her 2nd child. Days later after finding out about the pregnancy she started having Severe pains in her stomach. She goes to have test done and the MRI results determine she has 2 cysts, 1 on each ovary. The Doctors suggest we wait until the 2nd trimester to remove the cysts because the baby won't survive if they operate before then.
While Mallori was at work, she started to have the same pain but this time the pain was so bad she was unable to stand up. She goes home and has to be rushed to the ER. She is told she will be placed on bed rest until further notice. They scheduled another MRI and the cysts had grown rapidly. 1 9mm & the other 13mm. Doctors suggest since her pain is increasing and the cysts are growing, they have to move up the surgery.
I bring her to the hospital to have surgery. We are in the room and the doctors say the surgery is routine and would last about 2 hours. After waiting 4 hours to hear something, I get a call from her doctor....
The surgery was not what they expected! When they opened her up the first cyst had grown from the size of a golf ball to the size of a bowling ball. The ovary was cancerous and had fused to her small intestine. They move to the next one it was the same and started to melt and fall apart. They removed the ovary and Fallopian tube as well. During the surgery she lost over a liter of blood and the cancer touched other areas which also had to be cut out. They then, find a golf ball size hard mass in the intestines and decided to leave it there because they don't know where the cancer is coming from.
They close her up & move her to post op. I'm informed she started to lose amniotic fluid and starts bleeding out. She coded and was rushed to surgery again. Mallori is miscarrying. The baby is breeched and started delivering. Only 4 cm dilated the baby gets stuck and has to be removed immediately! Because of this happening, the baby's head detaches from the body and is removed in 2 parts.
In a matter of 12 hours....
Mallori finds out she has Cancer, has a Hysterectomy, was brought back to life after losing close to 4 liters of blood while miscarrying, and is still waiting to find out the results of what the blockage is & type of Cancer she has....
The Road to recovery has just begun! Mallori is going to need Emotional, Spiritual, and Financial support! During this time she is on leave of absence from work and will need money to take care of her household, her 12 year old son Mehki & any medical expenses not covered by her insurance.
Thank you in advance for all the love, support, best wishes, and prayers
