Help Us Give Our Children a Safe, Peaceful Home

I never thought I would be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, but as a parent, there comes a point where pride has to step aside for the safety and well-being of your children.

I am raising my children in a home that has become unsafe, unstable, and emotionally draining for our family. Over the years, this house has slowly fallen apart. Basic repairs are ignored or delayed, and issues that affect daily living are brushed off. We do our best to maintain what we can, but when you don’t own the home and repairs aren’t taken seriously, you’re left stuck living in conditions that no family—especially children—should have to endure.

Even more troubling than the physical state of the house is the environment around it.

We are being bullied and harassed by neighbors. It’s not just adults—it has spilled over onto the children. Neighbors encourage their kids to do hurtful, disrespectful, and intimidating things to my children. My kids should be able to play outside, feel safe in their own yard, and come home without fear or stress. Instead, they’re constantly on edge. No child deserves to grow up feeling targeted or unsafe where they live.

This home also holds a lot of emotional weight for my children. Three of them went through extremely difficult times here with their mother. Eventually, she left, and I stepped in fully to take over and hold this family together. It’s been years of trying to heal, rebuild, and create stability in a place that constantly reminds them of pain, stress, and fear. We’ve done everything we can to move forward—but the environment keeps pulling us backward.

I am doing everything in my power as a parent, but the truth is: this house is not a place where my children can thrive.

My goal is simple and deeply personal—I want to move my family out of this toxic situation and into a peaceful, safe place in the country. Somewhere quiet. Somewhere with space. Somewhere my kids can be kids again. A place where they can heal, grow, and feel protected. A place where we’re not surrounded by conflict, neglect, or fear.

The funds raised will go toward securing a new home for my children—whether that’s covering relocation costs, land, or the steps needed to build a modest, safe home where we can finally start fresh. I’m not asking for luxury. I’m asking for peace, safety, and stability.
