Patrice Carbone

Patrice started having back pain in June and began treatment for a herniated disk. Due to the pain she was admitted into the hospital in November, where she was suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. In the hospital they found she had broken vertebrae in her back and both of her hips were broken. She spent the next month in the hospital going through various tests and radiation to reduce the pressure on her back. In December she was able to return home, but has struggled due to her inability to walk. Initially it was said to be untreatable, but in January she was able to start Chemo. Proceeds from this benefit will go towards her medical expenses.
