Service Trip to Nicaragua

Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for taking a look at my page and considering helping me raise money for my trip to Nicaragua this upcoming Spring Break!
My name is Anthony Kwalwasser, I am 21 years old and a Junior at Quinnipiac University majoring in Occupational Therapy and minoring in Psychology.
This year, I have had the honor of being selected to be a part of Quinnipiac's Alternative Spring Break Program which, for the 11th consecutive year, will be working and providing services to Nicaraguan villages for about 10 days. This will be my first year experiencing anything like this, immersing myself in an entirely new culture, and assisting those in need. As a future health care professional I believe that it is important to expose myself to many different cultures, as the culture of my future clientele is an extremely important factor in the services that I will be providing them. In addition to that, simply doing good and assisting others is something that has always been one of the most important things in my life, eventually leading me to pursue a career in occupational therapy. This opportunity will help me grow exponentially as a person with regard to those two things.
This program has made huge impacts in Nicaragua the past, as they have built sidewalks so that people are able to enter buildings, auditoriums of schools, classrooms, held disease prevention programs, promoted healthy lifestyles through health education and so much more. This year, the project we will be working on will be revealed within the next few months, based on the needs of the village that we will be traveling to.
I could not be anymore excited about this experience, but I could use your help. The trip in total costs about 2500, which covers my airfare, food, housing and supplies that will be needed for the trip. By donating, you are not only helping me, but you are helping many people in Nicaruaga who are in need. Words cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to those who make a donation.
