Flooded House

Hey all, in May of 2021 I purchased my first home and moved into Dorothy Patch. As some of you may know on August 5th, 2022 the neighborhood fell victim to a pretty severe flash flood. There was water in the streets that nearly covered my entire car as well as water in the house that rose about 3ft high on my first floor. I was fortunate enough to have flood insurance on the building and insurance on my car; however this is still a major set back for me as today I found out none of my personal items are covered. Almost everything that was on the first floor including furniture, food, cat care items, and small appliances are either in need of repair or replaced altogether. I've included some pictures and some video of the flood and the aftermath.
