Hi, I’m Leah and I’m fundraising for help with medical expenses. Almost a year ago I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. It has spread to my lungs, liver, and ovaries. I started chemotherapy almost immediately. The cost of chemotherapy is very high and I currently owe the hospital $11,000. This treatment will continue for as long as I am alive, which they tell me will be several years.

I have had to stop working because of the side effects of the cancer and the treatments. Social security disability will not cover the expenses related to my treatment, including the out of pocket insurance payments I will need to make because I’m not working.
