Simba’s FULL Recovery

Hey everyone, we created this go fund me in hopes to raise enough money to ensure Simba’s legs make a full recovery.

Wednesday night, Simba suddenly started screaming in the backyard from an unknown injury that resulted in his back legs being paralyzed. Since then he has lost all function to his back legs/ body, he tries to get up and move around, he can’t. We immediately rushed him to the hospital where he had to stay over night to be monitored and x-rayed.

Thursday morning, we took him to a neurologist that told us he either has a herniated disc or had a stroke in his spine. In order to know for sure we NEEDED to take him for an MRI. 

LUCKILY the MRI revealed that HE DOES NOT NEED SURGERY! Unfortunately he did suffer a very bad bone bruise/ contusion most likely caused by a dislodged cartilage/ stroke. He will need physical therapy and 24/7 care. He will need to stay on medication and receive intense rehabilitation for about 2-3 months but will be able to walk again! Between the overnight hospital fee, medication, MRI, and future care, it costs $8,000. 

We are asking for ANY donation to help us pay for the care that Simba desperately needed/ still needs. For those of you that have known him since he was a baby, he is a runner and loves to play outside. We want to do everything possible to make sure he can do all of that again.
