Hi! I'm Ashlee, Mariah's sister-in-law (sister to her husband, Karl). We all know how difficult it can be to ask for help when things get difficult. With her permission, I have started this fundraiser so that we can all come together to support Mariah financially as she goes through the tiring journey of breast cancer treatments.

Mariah is such a fun, loving and kind individual. She is humble, modest and doesn't ask for much but offers so much love and care to all of those around her (animals included!). The discovery of her breast cancer was, of course, scary and sad, but Mariah continues to stay strong and optimistic about all of the procedures and treatments available to her. So far she has undergone one procedure to have the cancerous growth removed, but will now require many rounds of chemotherapy to ensure the cancer is gone.

Her and Karl hope to start a family in the future and luckily they were able to quickly undergo fertility treatments to have eggs frozen in the case of infertility post-chemo (thank you science!). All of this not only takes an emotional toll but also adds a large financial burden. Any contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. They will use any donations to help pay for medical bills, travel expenses, compensate for missed work, keep a fridge full of healthy and healing foods, and ensure they can continue to pay for the storage of her frozen eggs until they are able to use them.

We all love Mariah so much and know she is a warrior that will get through this difficult time with strength and courage!
