Go Fund Me Page to assist Connie Jamieson of Carleton Place with additional expenses not covered under the health care system for a much needed liver transplant.
Connie Jamieson has Stage 4 liver disease. This means that her liver is never going to heal and her only option is a transplant. Last spring, Connie was officially put on the transplant list, alongside the names of 200-plus other people. Connie was born in Carleton Place and has 8 sisters. Unfortunately none are a good match. She is married to husband David and they have two children Matthew and Andrea.
Connie’s name may be familiar to you. Connie served as a Cadet Officer and Lieutenant Commissioner for the Navy League for 16 years. She along with husband David have been members of the Carleton Place & District Civitan Club for over 10 years. Volunteering at their weekly bingo games at the Carleton Place Arena, along with the many other activities and fundraisers the club sponsors. Connie & David along with their own children’s support have been Foster parents for over 20 years. Connie volunteers with Girl Guides of Canada as a Sparks and Brownie Leader and more recently has been sponsoring exchange students for 3 years.
As you can see she and her family are constantly giving back to her community. She now needs our help and support.
Connie’s life is currently very stressful as she has had several serious health issues and setbacks.
Nobody wants anyone to go through hardship. There are several expenses not covered for either the recipient or the donor. Hence the need for a Go Fund Me Page.
