Josh's Story
In the fall of 2016, Josh formed what would eventually become the 501c3 non-profit Pedal for Alzheimer’s, Ltd. Pedal for Alzheimer’s is the umbrella organization that creates and manages charity cycling events to benefit organizations that are involved in Alzheimer’s research, care, and education. The first event, Pedal for Pat, created in 2017, was a 1,098-mile bike ride covering three states in just eleven days. The event was featured in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, ESPN, and multiple other regional and national media outlets. The charity event raised over $100,000 for the Pat Summitt Foundation in honor of late-legendary basketball coach Pat Summitt’s 1,098 career NCAA wins. The passion project has received national and international recognition and support.

Josh will celebrate his sixth anniversary of serving as President of the Board of the nationally-recognized charitable organization. Pedal for Alzheimer’s has hosted multiple cycling events, launched a national Ambassador program, and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to further the mission of the organization.
