Help Save Bonnie

This past Saturday my beloved dog Bonnie was having just another fun filled morning hanging out at the beach and playing at the park. When returning home, things took a turn and she started vomiting and became lethargic. I took her to the emergency room thinking she may have some type of stomach bug and received absolutely devastating news. A possible adverse reaction to a prescribed medication potentially caused a rupture and a build up of free fluid in her abdomen causing her to become septic which is extremely life threatening. We were faced with the awful decision to either make her comfortable and euthanize her or opt for emergency surgery which came with a major financial burden. I could not believe the circumstances and how things could change so quickly. Without hesitation we chose to give e her a fighting chance and went ahead with the surgery. After a four hour surgery and a sleepless night, Bonnie was stabilized and feeling better but not out of the woods. Early this morning, her levels started to drop and a transfusion was needed to help her make it through the day. Bonnie still has a very long road ahead of her and the bills have piled up so far to nearly $20,000 and climbing.

Bonnie is the sweetest girl and has touched so many people around her. We are asking for help to bring Bonnie home and get her everything she needs to make a full recovery.
