I'll begin this by saying the person I'm trying to raise money for is my hero. She is mine and my sister Alanna's amazing mother, Jamie Mohr. She is also a loving grandmother to my daughter Jaelynn, daughter to Jeanette and Randy, and sister to Josh and Jeremy. Jamie is only 38 and by far the soonest person I know. She has raised me and my sister by herself basically the whole time. Our father wasnt around much at first and not at all for the last 15 years. She worked multiple jobs to support us. We were living life just fine until my mom decided to go to the doctor because a spot in her neck was noticeably sticking out. We found out then that she had lung cancer. She went through 6 weeks of radiation and multiple rounds of chemo. Lost all her hair as well. Then things were ok again, the cancer had shrunk. But she was fighting an ulcer in her esophagus that would not heal. It gave her so much pain she couldn't eat much. She has lost almost 40 lbs weighing only 106 lbs today. Then, on September 22 she had a seizure at work. Found out she has a brain tumor in her right frontal lobe which is from this unique and stupid cancer she has. But that's not it, the day she was supposed to start treatment for the brain tumor, she was admitted to the hospital because the ulcer in her esophagus turned into a hole. So everything she tried to eat or drink was going into her lung. While in the hospital they put in a feeding tube which caused more pain. She stayed 3 days and then got to come home. So right now she has a feeding tube in trying to gain some weight and strength. But she still has a rough road ahead. She must do treatment on the tumor soon and the doctors are also talking about a very aggressive surgery to fix the hole in her esophagus. So I have made this page to help raise money for medical bills. We are also thinking about going to the cancer center in Texas for this big surgery. If so, the money raised will go toward that as well. Thank you for reading and may God bless you!
