Medical funds needed for Sparky!
Adorable little Sparky came into the West Valley Shelter after being hit by a car She was unable to use her hind legs. The shelter immediately put her on the euthanasia list to try to get her rescued to see an outside veterinarian.
Before the deadline, a caring volunteer was able to take Sparky out on a Good Sam basis. Sparky went to Mid Valley vet where they did bloodwork (all normal) and X-rays which discovered multiple hip fractures.
They also removed 8 teeth that were loose and they repaired a tear between her lip and gums.
Sparky is now on her way to health but it will be a long road ahead. She needs 4 weeks of cage rest and is on three meds. We heard a rescue is coming for her so she will hopefully be safe. We’d love to help reimburse the volunteer who lovingly took it upon herself to bring Sparky to the vet and save her life.
Every dollar helps.
