Support a child who lost her mom

Hello to those who are taking the time to read this. I've never made a gofundme before, but I feel this is a situation I must reach out to those who can help.
My name is Maya. A little over a year ago, I moved in with my younger cousin, Eden, and her mother (my aunt), Miri. They welcomed me into their home and made me apart of their family. Miri had been sick for a very long time with Scleroderma. Scleroderma is a long term autoimmune disease where the immune system is attacking healthy tissues. The disease comes in two forms and unfortunately Miri had the aggressive form that attacks internal organs, in her case, her lungs. She had been fighting for her life so that she could give her daughter, Eden, a life of health and happiness. It was them two versus the world.
Recently, Miri had an infection that made her every day life a struggle. Soon, she realized she had stage 4 cancer. The symptoms were easily missed due to the disease she already had. Many of you know, stage 4 is a hard one to beat.
Almost a week ago, the doctors gave us the warning that Miri has just a few days. The unfortunate news was told to her 16 year old daughter, Eden.
The walls broke down on her and reality began to kick in. Luckily she had her family and friends surrounding her with love and support.
Plans are now being made to determine where Eden will be living and whom her legal guardian will be.
Eden has been handling this situation very maturely. She knows that her mother will no longer be suffering. Miri was very spiritual, which has made it a bit easier on our grieving. We know she will be happy and free.
Although there will be family to support Eden, many of you may know that it is extremely difficult to raise a child. Miri did not have much to leave Eden.
I believe it would be a beautiful thing for all of us to come together and pitch in just a little to put aside for Eden. Money that can go into her education, insurance, or even her future. You'd be helping her guardian support and raise a child who's been through something most children shouldn't have to experience.
I don't expect $25,000,I just filled that in because I had no choice. Any amount would be beyond appreciated. A donation of $1 a person would be generous. Anything! As a family we just want to be prepared for the responsibility of giving Eden the best life she could possibly have.
