Supporting Amber Gottschalk's Recovery

I have been approached by several people who have asked that the family set up a gofundme site for my niece, Amber. She was the victim of a violent crime, and is still in critical condition. Her left leg had to be amputated below the knee.  I am flabbergasted at the initial cost and recurring expense of prosthtetics. I attach a link to an abc news article describing the expense.  They compare it with buying a new car - every three years or so.  Whatever funding is raised via this site will be used to offset co-pays and/or help provide for medical and living expenses as she recovers. I will administer the site, and have the funding sent to Amber's mom, Michele.
