On Monday, July 21st a special little hero, Tristan Christopher Duckett was born. Tristan has been diagnosed with 22q and tetralogy of fallot. Just 3 days after his birth, on July 24th Tristan will go through his first 6-8 hour open-heart surgery. His parents have been approved to stay at the Children's House at Hopkins while Tristan heals from surgery. Thankfully, they will be just across the street from Tristan. Tristan's parents are only receiving one week of maternity leave, and as you can imagine their medical bills, as well as monthly bills are already piling up. It will cost them $20 a night to stay at the Children's House, and they have a few thousand dollar deductible to meet before their insurance will pick up any medical charges. Please help to remove the financial burden this family is already feeling and accruing so that they can focus only on their son, without any additional worry. Any little bit helps!
