Christian Farley is a sweet, lovable, 4 year old little boy who was born with Panhypopituitarism (body doesn't make any hormones needed to function). The pituitary gland did not develop properly. Because of a cyst in his brain, which was collecting spinal fluid, he had a shunt put in the area to drain the fluid from collecting in the brain.
He was also diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) a rare and severe kind of epilepsy. Children with LGS have seizures often, and have several different kinds of seizures throughout the entire brain. The seizures go from 0 to 150 per day. Some days are great and some very difficult.
This sweet little boy is blind (due to the optical nerve not developing. He is unable to walk nor talk (he is making noises). He take shots and a number of medications daily. Christian has been in and out of the hospital since birth but he always has a smile on his face.
Christian has physical therapy weekly and usually has to be seen by several doctors a few times a week. His mom or dad have to be with him 24/7. Of course, he has a loving family that supports and helps as much as possible. Mom quit her job to give him all the time and attention needed with these disabilities.
He is getting bigger and much harder for mom to pick him up and put in a car seat. He will always be in a wheelchair.
If you can help them with any donation so they can purchase a used handicap wheelchair accessible van it would be so appreciated. If not, please pray for Christian and his parents to have strength and give him the love that they show to him each day.
